We asked Rosibel to share a little bit about her life and inspirations.

You worked as a nurse for more than 17 years before pursuing a master’s in science specializing in family practice. What inspired you to make the transition to the aesthetic industry?

Rosibel: I have always been fascinated by the beauty industry. As an aesthetic nurse practitioner, I have a unique opportunity to utilize my clinical judgment as well as my artistic side. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to enhance someone’s natural beauty as well as improve the way somebody feels about themselves. I have the unique chance to work with clients through a sequence of treatments and witness the transformation process. The journey is definitely an empowering one for the client as well as myself.

What do you love the most about working at Criswell?

Rosibel: I believe in Cristin Mercer’s mission to help clients experience a full transformation by providing a comprehensive approach to self-care. [Cristin Mercer-McNeil is the founder and owner of CrisWell Medical Spa.] Encouraging self-improvement is an exploration! Cristin has been working in the beauty industry for over 30 years; I feel privileged to work beside such a pioneer.

What do you love to do when you’re not at work?

Rosibel: I’m a mother of four, my oldest is 26 years old. I have twins — they are 14 years old, and they’re adopted and of Irish descent. I love to spend time with my family and love the outdoors. Hiking is our favorite activity to do together. I have been married little over 15 years to a wonderful man. As a family, we give back to our community. We help feed the homeless in low income communities. It’s important to us that every family has a warm dinner on Thanksgiving day so we spend that day helping the less fortunate.

If you could give one or two pieces of advice to every aesthetic client, what would it be?

Rosibel: Take the time to do the research! It is important to ask questions regarding your treatment. Make sure your provider is board certified. Trust your instincts.

Please explain your areas of expertise.

Rosibel: My passion for beauty has led me to gain multiple years of experience in injectables as well as lasers and other modalities. I have gained several certifications, polished my skills and developed a considerable knowledge base, which has allowed me to gain recognition in the field of medical aesthetics.

When it comes to getting optimal results with injectables or laser skin treatments, why does the skill of the provider matter?

Rosibel: An experienced provider can help clients determine what types of procedures might benefit them the most and provide the best possible outcome. A skilled provider has a vast understanding of human anatomy, therefore preventing any sentinel events. It’s extremely important to ensure the safety of our clients. This can only be done with years of education and experience.

Rosibel administers master-level Botox® and dermal filler sessions, in addition to award-winning Halo fractional laser skin resurfacing, microneedling and BBL HERO® photofacials. To schedule your treatment, please call 781.935.7333 or complete a consultation request form online today.
